This event was hosted by A Better Start – E tipu e Rea – National Science Challenge. The aim of the symposium was to bring together more than 160 researchers and other key stakeholders engaged in the Challenge's projects to showcase the current research findings and scan to the future for where to next.

Dr Joanna Chu presented her study findings of MyTeen, a mobile-based text messaging programme for parents of adolescents, which was funded by the National Science Challenge A better Start/Cure Kids. "It was a great change to learn about other research out there," said Dr Chu.
