Unintentional child injury is a serious public health problem in New Zealand and globally. Reducing child injury incidents will require a sufficiently sized and skilled workforce. In this study, Professor Bridget Kool and NIHI’s Elaine Umali looked at current New Zealand child injury prevention workforce and identified the need to conduct a wider and more regular audit of the child injury prevention sector.
