Youth week

Youth Week is a nationwide festival of events organised by young New Zealanders to celebrate the talents, passion and success of young people in the community.

This year's theme is: “Our voices matter, we deserve to be heard”. With New Zealand having one of the highest youth suicide rates in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), we would also like to shed some light on the importance of youth mental health in the country. At The National Institute for Health Innovation (NIHI), we aim to continuously provide support to youth in the following areas:
