Did you know it’s Salt Awareness Week? As Kiwis we eat far more salt than is needed for good health, which increases our risk for high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease. Seeing as cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of preventable death and disability in Aotearoa, this is important stuff.
