NIHI wins Ministry of Health Tender - National Nutrition Survey
19 October 2021

Unhealthy diet is the leading preventable risk for poor health in New Zealand with dietary risk factors such as low fruit and vegetable consumption, high sodium intake, and obesity being key drivers of health inequities. A nutrition survey will help reduce inequities by providing the evidence base for developing policies to improve nutrition and reduce obesity.
Our world-class team from the National Institute for Health Innovation (NIHI), University of Auckland and Massey University are thrilled to be working alongside government agencies and other key stakeholders to develop the design, methodology, and assessment tools for the next national nutrition survey!
