NIHI welcomes Mayor Pokino to the whānau. Mayor is an experienced evaluator, originally from Atiu, Cook Islands and with experience working in the Cook Islands, Auckland Council and in Counties Manukau DHB. Mayor brings a wealth of experience to our growing team of evaluators. She has a keen interest in gathering and utilizing data to inform strategic plans/actions to improve the health of all New Zealanders.

Mayor says, "NIHI's focus aligns very well with my passion, which is preventing disease, improving people’s health, reducing health inequities and enabling the delivery of more effective and equitable healthcare. I am honoured to be part of a team that shares similar passion as me, and I look forward to growing and working alongside this awesome team."
