We are happy to announce that NIHI has been awarded $16,000 from the MAS Foundation to develop an online platform that will distribute information to decision-makers faster and more efficiently.

There is no doubt that the COVID-19 pandemic is raising many questions and challenges for decision-makers. Now more than ever, it is imperative for decision-makers to have available, at all times, up-to-date and scientifically accurate information to make the best decisions for the public.

In order to do so, decision-makers are requesting reviews from the academic public health medicine specialists who are able to do them rapidly. However, currently the distribution of the information (including peer review, version management, and distribution) is email-based which slows down the system.

With the grant from the MAS Foundation, NIHI will develop an online platform to make this process faster and less labour intensive.
